General Information About Handmade Turkish Leather Shoes (Yemeni) Yemeni mainly consists of two parts; The heart is made of buffalo & cattle skin & consists of the part coming from the ground & the calf leather base strap & glands on it. The face is composed of sahtiyan & oak, which are joined to each other by the back & glued to the back. 5 different animal skins are used to make yemeni. The lower sole is made of buffalo or cowhide, the face is made of goat leather, the inner lining is sheep leather, the inner sole is made of cattle or goat leather, & the edge is made of capricorn.
