Many of the citizens listed were once slaves who lived a blended life with the American indigenous people and many others were first generation descendants of slaves who carried a multicultural heritage because of that blending. Proof of Native American bloodlines have been indicated on these census entries. If you’re looking for family members of African & Seminole and Creek heritage, you very well might find them in this book. The tools for African American Family Researchers are not as available as with other cultures and are very hard to come by. Here is a resource book that any researcher - novice or professional - would find extremely useful.
