This touchscreen wall display can be used for many different things. At its core it is a touchscreen Windows computer. If used as a Dakboard, you can exit Dakboard & do anything you like. For example in my home if we are expecting company I will switch it to view our security cameras so I can see when they arrive. We also connect it to our Bluetooth stereo & use it as a music player. I provide pre installed software that can auto launch & full screen any website. It will also boot automatically when plugged in. So you can set it up as a Dakboard smart calendar or any other use, & it will automatically restore itself if anything happens. On a normal Dakboard display you cannot interact with the content you see. With this, you can scroll up & down on the calendar up to three months out. You still cant open calendar events, however, since it is also a windows computer you can open up your calendar in a new tab & create/edit/view events as far into the future as you like. No other wall display gives you this option. Technical details: The dimensions of the display including the wood frame are roughly: 32in: 31in x 19in x 2in This display can only hang landscape, unfortunately I cannot offer portrait as an option. All displays use a bright non glossy IPS display. This means the screen will have nice bright vivid colors with wide viewing angles. It will not show glares as much as glossy displays, making them perfect for rooms with lots of natural light. You wont have to worry nearly as much about seeing reflections on the screen. If you have a recessed power outlet, or want to run the power cable through the wall, there is plenty of space in the back to use either option. This will allow you to have no visible cables. The touch screen is an overlay on a normal non touch screen monitor. It works really well, however, do not expect it to be as sensitive as a phone or tablet touch screen. The computer is a fanless Windows 11 PC. It has a quad core CPU & 8gb of RAM. The PC is more than powerful enough for its purpose & with no moving parts it should last a very long time. The display does not have any built in speakers. I tested adding small speakers inside the frame, & unfortunately they do not sound very good because the audio gets muffled too much on its way out. The display does have Bluetooth, so you can wirelessly connect any Bluetooth speaker/sound bar & have amazing audio. You can connect a wireless keyboard and/or mouse if you like. There are plenty of extra USB ports on the PC inside of the frame. Returns: All returns must be sent back in their original packaging. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
