“B Grade” Moldavite specimen (The Moldavite I have for sale listed as “B Grade” is what would typically be considered as less sought after material, because of the amount of damage on the individual pieces and/or that it is just not as traditionally aesthetically pleasing. As such, I am able to sell it at a lower price per gram than other Moldavite specimens. I would have to say that the idea of this material being less sought after however, is quite relative. I know that I personally can relate with the idea of being damaged, & then when taken into account that this Moldavite being damaged or not meeting some sort of traditional idea of beauty, has no correlation with the individual stones power. That regardless of these perceived flaws, the stone is no less powerful of a catalyst, than any other piece of Moldavite, regardless of it’s size or “quality”. I would like to imagine that it is this idea, that is the reason this “less sought after” material seems to sell as fast or faster than any other variety of Moldavite that I sell. & not simply that it is just more affordable because I am able to sell it for significantly less per gram than any other variety. lol) Moldavite is the very first stone that I personally ever felt the energy of, the catalyst of my metamorphosis of my scientific fascination with stone, into my metaphysical journey with them. Moldavite is a Tektite, that is thought to have formed about 14.7 million years ago from a meteorite that is thought to have impacted at the Nördlinger Ries Crater in southern Germany. Splatters of the ground material that was melted by that impact cooled as they fell through the air landing mostly in what today is called the Czech Republic. It has been called “The Emerald that fell from the sky” & has been featured on the popular history channel television show “Ancient Aliens”.
