These cuties are the perfect size for dangle earrings, a large ring, decoden pieces…. you name it! The mold is made from sturdy but flexible LDPE plastic. They measure approx. 17x17mm & 24x24mm. You will receive 4 cavities of each size as shown in the picture. Please note that some slight “watermarking” may occur due to the handmade nature of this type of mold. They can be taken away with a glazing of resin on your finished piece. I do not ship anything that I would not use myself so rest assured this is minimal if at all! Thank you so much for shopping at Sugar Skull Molds! RESIN POURING TIPS: 1. I recommend glazing your pieces for the most polished & professional finishing touch possible. This not only strengthens your pieces… it adds a superior shine! 2. These molds are handmade. If you find it hard to keep the mold level you can place the mold in a bed of dry rice to make leveling the mold easier. This is usually not necessary but if the mold has multiple cavities with different depths it is a great hack! 3. I do recommend a release agent for molds that have deeper or have peaks or valleys. The more details a mold has… the more the resin grabs so a release spray helps loads with that! Plus using a release agent extends the life of your molds! 4. Always let your resin fully cure before removing your piece. This really helps your piece pop out of ther mold easier! 5. If you are still having trouble popping your piece from the mold you can try freezing the mold for 10-15 minutes & see if that helps. Another alternative if the resin is fully cured is placing the mold in warm soapy water & trying to demold your piece that way.
