Moldavite (Jakule deposit) specimen Moldavite is the very first stone that I personally ever felt the energy of, the catalyst of my metamorphosis of my scientific fascination with stone, into my metaphysical journey with them. Moldavite is a Tektite, that is thought to have formed about 14.7 million years ago from a meteorite that is thought to have impacted at the Nördlinger Ries Crater in southern Germany. Splatters of the ground material that was melted by that impact cooled as they fell through the air landing mostly in what today is called the Czech Republic. It has been called “The Emerald that fell from the sky” & has been featured on the popular history channel television show “Ancient Aliens”. This particular piece of Moldavite comes from the Jakule deposit, I deposit that is typically known for the Moldavite it produces being rather unsightly, but relatively interesting none the less. Most of the pieces found in this deposit are relatively small chips as well, so larger pieces like this are actually quite sought after by collectors regardless of their appearance. (If you have any questions about how to tell if a piece of Moldavite is genuine, please message me & I’d be glad to help, even if you are looking to buy from someone else) Weight: 9.69 grams Size: 1.5" x 1" x 0.58" (inches) (please message me for international or upgraded shipping) any overage on actual shipping charges will be refunded regardless 9.69 Gram Moldavite | Jakule Deposit Specimen
