Adrenaline Alert is a collection of humorous short stories about Larry’s animal encounters. He was a Tom Sawyer stereotype in the Pacific Northwest during the sixties. The book begins with a moose ram confrontation on a canoe trip. It also contains cougar, bobcat and wolf encounters. Each short story has a true basis, however exaggerated into factional accounts - fiction based on facts. The settings and characters are actual places and people scattered throughout west, many seldom visited by normal people. Themes include fishing, hiking, and canoeing, as well as romance, Boy Scouting, and paranormal. Adrenaline Alert is first in a series of thirty. An illustration by the author is at the beginning of each chapter.
