This large Afghan beaded panel was handcrafted during the later 1900’s for the nomadic Kuchi tribe of Central Asia. They look especially great attached at the small of the back on a jacket. The beaded patterns on this pattern depict hearts, stars, & stylized rams-horns - designs found throughout the artwork of Central Asia. The back was lined with red cotton, giving it extra support.
