This 4 ounce ball of roving is wonderful for spinning or felting. It is a blend of 50% Alpaca for super-softness, 30% long, wavy, Tunis Wool for strength & durability, & 20% short, crimpy Corriedale Lambswool for softness & loft. This color is “Sock Monkey”, a combination of scarlet, gray, & white. It is super-easy to spin … just imagine yarn made from these beautiful colors! The roving works up fast & easily because of the small amount of long wool fiber put into the blend. Your spun yarn will be soft & luxurious, due to the alpaca & short-fiber wool. This is a great roving for beginning spinners, & expert fiber enthusiasts will find it fun to work with. This roving also felts well & will make a soft but durable fabric when felted. CARE Finished items should be hand washed with shampoo or mild detergent in cool water without agitation, rolled in a towel to absorb excess moisture, & laid flat to dry.
