We’ve turned this wonderful natural fossil into a pendant by hand wrapping it with two different gauges of sterling silver wire. It’s hand crafted to last, & measures slightly over 1.5 inches long, from the top of the bail to the bottom of the fossil, & just over 1 inch across at its widest point. Be sure to look at the picture of it next to a quarter to get an idea of size. Ammonite is a fossil of a cephalopod that existed in nature about 65-240 million years ago. Egyptians named this fossil after their God, Ammon because it’s shape resembles a ram’s horns. The Ammonite is a very powerful earth healing fossil.
