Antique Amethyst Engagement Ring Victorian Art Deco 10K Yellow Rose Gold Vintage Conversion

This is a Victorian Amethyst conversion ring. The shank was made in the early part of the 20th century. The top of the ring is the top of a Victorian stick pin. The Amethyst is bezel set east to west. It’s testing 10k to 12k rose gold. The band is 10k yellow gold. It’s a size 5 but because of the way it’s made will fit up to a 5.25. There is an etched floral pattern going around the bezel set Amethyst. The amethyst measures 16mm by 12mm set east to west. This ring is really beautiful. The Amethyst is great condition with only minimal wear. It would be a really fun statement ring or a unique engagement ring. North to south the face measures 15.5mm. East to west it measures 20mm. The Amethyst sits 8.5mm off the finger. The band measures 2.3mm at the bottom & 2.5mm under the shoulder. The ring weighs 5.91 grams of gold. The ring weighs a substantial amount. The bezel setting won’t catch on anything. So much nicer than the pictures.
