Antique Boy Doll. Stuffed Fabric Boy. Vintage Handmade Cloth Toddler Boy. This 16.5 inch doll is in excellent condition considering its age. The little guy has played hard though as he has lost both shoes (if he ever had any) & 1 sock. For some reason, that makes him more endearing to me as I so often recall my kids shedding socks/shoes in their playing. I recall once that I noticed my daughter, in her stroller, only had on one shoe. She had taken the other off & dropped it along our journey & I hadn’t even noticed until it was gone forever. The little boy’s face is drawn on with a pen/marker, & his hair with a curl at the front is sewn with embroidery floss. His arms are attached with buttons & thick thread. He has survived many years, but I would not recommend that he be played with now. He is more of a showpiece or a shelf sitter. He lived in a smoke free home; he doesn’t have a musty or old smell.
