This antique, French engraving features seashells & is from an 1867 issue of Magasin Pittoresque. The entire piece measures 11 ½" x 7 ½". The area where the actual engraving is situated is approximately 5 ¾" x 5 ¼". Please examine the photographs carefully as there is significant creasing to the face of the engraving & the sheet overall as well as some foxing & brown staining along the edges of the sheet. I have not tried to flatten out the creases. Please let me know if you would like more photographs as I’ll be happy to oblige. Please note there is a penciled “1868” in the upper right hand corner.
