Antique Georgian C. 1800 Foil Back Emerald & Silver Bow Brooch Pendant

A beautiful & wearable piece of history! Dating from the late Georgian era, circa 1800, this wonderful pendant / brooch is set with numerous flat-cut foil back emeralds set in silver. Designed as a bow with teardrop shape pendant suspended below it has a later added brooch fitting meaning you can wear it either way. Set on a modern sterling silver chain. Dimensions: Pendant measures 1.5 inches long by .9 inches wide. Weight: 6 grams Condition: in good antique condition. Emeralds have small nicks & abrasions commensurate with wear & age.
