Antique artisan crafted handcarved wooden monk is a great piece, good details, & very old piece, most likely dates to the 1800s & possibly was from an old church..it was attached to something at some point because you can see from the back there is a spot where it would have been fixed to a post for a table possibly or a chair. Measures; 6.5" height, 2" width at base. Age & wear, some scratches, dents & dings. Wood seams a bit faded on monk’s face & head & base, but that definitely adds to his charm. Thanks for viewing.
