This is a vintage Scottish snuff mull, also known as a sheeshin mull. in the 1800s they were quite popular in Scotland, made of sheep, ram or goat horns that were readily available. This one has a very ornate silver lid & chain, all appear to be sterling but no makers marks. This is a wonderful find! Size : 7" long X 2.5" wide.
