This is a pair of antique Victorian Welteze shoes in a black leather with high buttons. They date from 1900 & are made of I believe kid leather with a decorative punch work trim across the front toes. They have 14 buttons, however one boot is missing a top button. The bottoms are marked Special Flexible soles. No size label, but the boot measures 9" long x 3" wide with a 2" heel. My guess is that they would be equal to a size 6 narrow or maybe even smaller.
