Amazing vintage find! This is a RARE neon pink vintage “used in actual play” 50 cent casino chip from the Casa Blanca Resort & Casino in Mesquite Nevada. The city of Mesquite was incorporated in 1984, & was first settled in 1880 as Mesquite Flats. The Casa Blanca Resort & Casino is about an hour drive from Las Vegas, located in Mesquite Nevada. This particular Resort is known as a Spa & Luxury Hotel. Originally it was part of Merv Griffin’s collection of Luxury Hotels. This 50 cent chip is uncirculated & still in the protective holder. It’s bright neon pink, & very rare! This is from the 1990’s. Own a great piece of Old Nevada History! Update I was just sent a piece of information that my info that I was originally given for this particular chip may in fact be wrong. There were actually 3 different neon pink chips issued at different times & they look VERY similar, ALL with the same neon pink color chip. Looks like this version was issued in 2015, not 1997 as told, ‘97 gold writing was different.
