This lovely set of 6 matching vintage silver plated oyster, seafood, or cocktail forks is Made in France, circa 1950’s. They have a beautiful floral pattern that is the same on both front & back of the handles. There is also a lovely pattern at the base of the tines where they meet the back of the handle, which makes this set even more elegant The tines of the forks are short & wide, so perfect for oysters & seafood, or perhaps for cold cuts. No matter how you display these forks on your table they will look beautiful. They are in lovely vintage condition with normal yet minimal micro scratches of use. They measure approximately 5-1/4 inches in length, the tines are 1 inch wide. (13.3 cm x 2.7 cm) They are made for oysters, seafood, lobster, cocktails, or perhaps you could use them for olives, appetizers, or for deli meat / coldcuts or perhaps for cheese. Since I have such a sweet tooth, I personally can envision them used for small bites of my favorite dessert, pie, or cake!
