This is a beautiful figural silver plated Shell shaped serving platter from the mid to late 1900s. It measures about 13" x 11" & is unbranded. It has a really elegant mid century appeal to it with nice lines & good quality. It could use a good polishing, so it will come tarnished, however, I can’t find any pitting or other metal showing through or wear to the silver. The little platter or tray is a really nice size & while it is not a super deep dish, it would be great for hors d’oeuvres or seafood of some sort. It would also make a beautiful display in a nautical theme. in good vintage preowned condition, it’s free from any overt damage or repairs & would be great in your home or to use for an elegant dinner party.
