A simple, yet striking design, with graceful movement to it. The shape is abstract, yet the way it curves in space is reminiscent of a leaf. To make these earrings, I first hand cut the elongated shapes out of a sheet of bronze. Then, I forge them into three-dimensional curved shapes by hammering them, using a technique called anticlastic raising. I finish them by hand, giving the bronze a soft glow.
