Offering one bunch of Riccia Fluitans from my personal tanks. These are drifting, low light, & easy care plants. I love them in mine as they are great at sheltering fry & baby shrimplets. This order is for one clumped bunch, about the size of a small ping-pong ball. Will contain other shorter stems. This is sometimes called Pearlwort; a romantic sort of name that alludes to the beautiful little oxygen pearls that form on the tips of this moss. You’ll see this effect best under high light, or when this moss floats right up at the surface nearest the light. I love to allow mine to float on the surface for fry & shrimplet shelter, but I have tied it to fishing weights & driftwood before. It will constantly attempt to escape to the surface, but it’ll look like a cute little bush for a few months in the meanwhile. I’ve also used loose gravel to weigh it down. I’ve included a photo above of a sample order. This is the amount you can expect to receive. Grown submerged with minimal fertilizer & average light/ room temperatures. I do have non aggressive, hamless snails in tanks. If you’d absolutely rather not have snail hitchhikers, definitely look up how to do a bleach dip. These are harvested & packed right before shipment. I’m very careful, & I use methods that have consistently gotten the best results over years. Lot of love going into this hobby.
