He set up shop in Boston then moved to Laguna Beach, California where his well-made designs were favored by the Hollywood movie folks. He died in 1970. His family resumed the business in the 1990’s with some new designs & copies of some of the original pieces. THIS PIECE IS AN EARLY ORIGINAL. Cini has long been associated with intricate jewelry, primarily in sterling silver, & all of splendid quality. The designs display strong classical & renaissance influence, undoubtedly inspired by the rich art & architecture of Guglielmo Cini’s native country, Italy. Some pieces were reproductions of antique fine jewelry but most were original designs. A variety of techniques were used, including solid cast pieces, repoussé & filigree, & a few pieces were gold plated. Cini Aries Brooch - Zodiac Series Signed Vintage Sterling Silver
