Teapot Art. This teapot has a graceful, sculptural look about it. The interior of the copper teapot is lined in tin. The supports for the bamboo wrapped handle are brass, as is the lid finial & the three feet that hold it it above the table top. The lid fits well on the rolled lip of the pot opening. From the table to the top of the handle is 7 1/2", from the spout tip to the opposite side of the pot is 8 1/8". Filled to the top it holds 44 ounces. (Of course you would never fill it that full.) It pours without a drip. There is some tarnish on the copper & the tin on the inside shows some wear. There are a few tiny dimple dents on the bottom that show only when the pot is turned over. The front leg is slightly indented causing it to sit not quite perfectly straight. The bottom is marked ‘China’. This is a really sturdy teapot that would add good shape & texture to a copper collection. Copper Teapot With Tinned Lining ~ Bamboo Wrapped Wood Handle Brass Feet & Support
