Our loops will fit on most traditional 7"-8" potholder looms that have 16-18 pins per side & have a width of 7" between pins, but are designed to go with the traditional 8" loom kit that we sell in our Etsy Store. The loops are high quality cotton blends & 0.5 pounds will make (on average) 4 potholders. These loopers originate as a byproduct of the sock manufacturing process. By purchasing these loops, you will be turning something that was destined for a landfill into beautiful & functional art. Be aware that some loops may have loose elastic or other irregularities. This should not influence the aesthetic quality or durability of the finished product. … just pull the elastic out or clip the loose thread before weaving it. It is important to handle the loops carefully when weaving so that the loops don’t begin to unravel. We hand sort & clean the loops & try to select the right loops for each size loom. Occasionally you will receive loops that may not fit your loom, so we generally include extras in your assortment. If you have several different size looms, you will be happy to have the assortment of sizes! We sell the traditional sock loopers in assorted colors, choosing a variety from what we have available. Our supply is dependent on what the factory is running & we occasionally run out of some colors. If you need certain colors, include a note with your order & we will do our best to fill it. Some colors may only be available in limited quantities. We do not accept returns on loops so contact us if there is any question whether they will fit on your existing loom. SHIPPING: The postage charges may appear high due to the wide variety of weights we offer in the loops. Rest assured, if you are overcharged for shipping, we will either include extra loops or refund the overcharge.
