This listing is for 70% Organic Cotton & 30% Flax (Degummed & Bleached) - Offered in Sliver (Roving) by the ounce. This is a custom blend of approximately 70% Organic Cotton grown here in Texas mixed at 30% with a German flax that has been degummed & bleached. The flax fiber is grown on sustainable farms in Germany which are working towards G.O.T.S certification. The raw flax has been decortication cleaned with H2O2; a more environmentally friendly process over chlorine bleaching. The flax staple length is 2"-6" & the cotton has a very short staple length 1". The fibers blend well together & offers a soft, cloud like sliver that spins nicely.
