Ascot or Cravat style necktie These Regency style neckties are approximately 43" square. The last photo shows the size when the ascot is folded in half. They are made from an amazing cotton/silk voile twill fabric. The fabric is somewhat sheer as can be seen in the photos. It has a nice luster & enough texture to really make an impression. There are many tying techniques but in the photos I started by folding two opposite corners into the center. I then continued folding it in half until I had a reasonable width. I tried to show this in the third photo. The photo of the black cravat is shown with a tall standing collar which is not part of the sale. The white ones are hemmed on all four sides; the black ones are hemmed only on two since the fabric was finished nicely when it was woven.
