This Mandala wall plaque can be hung in your home or garden. It can be used as meditation art, or as a unique outdoor sculpture for your garden. I hand carved the original in plaster; this is cast stone art from the mold made of that carving. It is 8 1/2" square & about 3/4" thick, & weighs about 5 pounds. It is hand cast & finished in my home studio from a mold I made of the original plaster carving. I use a custom cast stone mixture of sands, pigments, & cements. I embed a galvanized hook in the back, & sign & date the plaque. Once cured, I use gold & bronze highlights over black & green base (AC 14 20 27 19). I use some interference paints which create subtle changes in color based on the direction & warmth of the light. You can hang this indoors or out. I use paints designed for outdoor use, & it is further protected by a UV barrier coating. My cast stone art is hand-painted & has some variation in colors & finishes.
