For your consideration, we are offering this Exquisite Early 19th Century Islamic Turkish Ottoman Empire Silver Panelled Belt & Buckle. This is marked & has a keyhole clap. This fine piece measures about 30" in overall length & is about 1-3/16" wide. This is comprised of 14 decorated panels of fully hallmarked silver & a decorated buckle. This piece has at least 3 different Middle Eastern silver marks. This may be a belly dance belt but could be military also. in my research I found this to have all the authentic qualities. This nice Historic Era piece weighs 11.7 oz. or 330 grams of all metal. I did polish the back side of the keyhole panel but left the rest original patina for you to decide if you want to polish it or keep it original.
