Here is an absolutely gorgeous early 1960s brocade dress by Burnichon of Nice, France. The style is a true wiggle dress with a narrow hem. The material used in this dress is amazing & really hard to capture in photos. Basically it is a black background with gold metallic threads but under the gold there are also metallic purple & blue threads so when the light hits it you get sort of an iridescent oil slick effect. The dress is well tailored & features a rounded yoke in front. No size labels inside so please go by the measurements. It was a bit loose on the mannequin in back so I am estimating about a modern day size 6 or so. Excellent vintage condition.
