In 2011, linguist Christine Melody Andersen met a famous Jewish Rabbi in Poland. Thus began her journey to find answers to unspoken questions. Those answers result in the writings contained in Florilegia: Anthology for My Lord. A creative mind does not show concern for time, so she often awoke at 3.00 in the morning with a fresh understanding that had to be written at that moment. Various forms of literature were spontaneously chosen to express her numerous epiphanies as psalms, sonnets, petitions, appeals and odes. Danish heritage, Joseph Smith lineage and musical concepts contributed to her perspectives on life in the twenty-first century. Her children’s story, “The Two Sheep,” is a delightful parable of love between a tall ram and a small ewe. To preserve their love and harmony, together, they seek advice from the Good Shepherd. “Jesus the Perfect Sacrifice,” “The Bible,” and “Eve’s Lament” reveal great insight and empathy. As a child, Christine learnt music and language synonymously; the melody, pitch, and rhythm of words are music to her ears and make themselves known in Florilegia: Anthology for My Lord.
