A Rare Find! Signed Foree’ 925 Sterling Silver belt buckle with Embossed Calfskin Saddle Leather Brown Belt. The buckle is fabulous! Depicts four muses, flowers & ornate scrolls reminiscent of the Victorian Era opulence & pomp! The buckle was wax cast from an antique piece so it looks like it’s an antique. You can read more about Foree’ Medalias Line below. The back of the buckle is signed Free’ .925. The buckle measures 4" Long by 3.5" high. The buckle weighs 114 grams not including the belt. The brown leather belt measures 1.5" wide 34" long total length. The hook fastens at 28", 29", 30", & 32" lengths. The belt buckle & the leather belt are in very good pre-owned condition. Patina is georgeous, leather is soft & supple. The front of the belt leather has a few tiny white spots. May clean off. The inside of the leather has a few water marks. I show them in the photos. Foree’ Hunsickler founded a successful jewelry manufacturer business in 1987 called “Medalias” in Texas. The company specialized in reproducing a wide variety of Victorian era Designs in Sterling Silver using the lost wax casting process. Hunsickler’s designs were cast from actual antique pieces making them appear to be antique heirlooms. She was honored with a Dallas Fashion Award in 1995 & she passed away in March of 2015.
