After a tragic event in rural India, Kishore an orphaned survivor of a murdered couple is forced to pick up the pieces of his broken life in the metropolitan city of Patna. Thousands of miles away in California, Sean Persaud and his American wife Susan have compelling reasons to trace the roots of Sean’s family. They do not know much about his ancestors except that their names were Ram Persaud and Sandra Debbie. They had migrated from India to Guyana in 1860 as indentured laborers. Their only source of information is Sean’s nonagenarian grandaunt Kamala who lives in Trinidad. She had spent some years with her great grandfather Ram Persaud in his last days. Kamala tells Sean and Susan the stories the old man had told her: of the turbulent days of the Indian Mutiny of 1857; exotic tales and legends he had heard of the colorful Bengal Irregular Cavalry; and finally, their eventful voyage to Guyana. She also gives them some mysterious objects, hoping that they might help them in their search. In this compelling drama, ‘Full Circle’ tells in graphic detail an epic story of four families spread over the West Indies, United States and India.
