Its dense, aromatic, bluish-green leaves should be used fresh, they can also be dried or frozen. Thanks to the outstanding vigor of the proposed plant, the yields obtained from its cultivation are always very abundant. Annual plant, height: 90-110 cm, shape: upright, tufted. Strong, stiff, firm leaf stalks are quite wide & gathered in generous clumps. They carry lush clouds of long, feathery leaves, dark green with a blue tinge. Sowing date: late March-August. Garden Fennel - Anet Dill Moravan seeds offered in our store should be sown in semi-shaded or sunny positions, shaded only in the afternoon. Plants give the highest yields on humus soils rich in organic matter & rather light. They are sensitive to water shortages. Spacing: 5 x 10 cm; Broadcast sowing is also possible. Dill is not frost tolerant, therefore leaf harvesting should be completed before the first frost. Delicate, intensely fragrant leaves of this variety are best eaten fresh. You can sprinkle them on potatoes, soups & sauces, especially those that are hard to digest. Since Garden Fennel - Anet Dill Moravan ensures a rich harvest, some of the raw material should be dried or frozen - as a result of these treatments it will not lose its spice value. An additional advantage of the variety, available for sale in our store, is late flowering, guaranteeing a very long harvest period.
