According to a study released in 2013 by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, food allergies among children increased approximately 50% between 1997 and 2011. Sounds serious doesn’t it? And it is, considering how many children are affected and how the numbers are so dramatically on the rise. However, life goes on and we decided to embrace our child’s allergies to wheat. Together as a family we have created some pretty incredible delicious and nutritious meals. As a result of years of discovering and enjoying these great meals, my kids decided it was time to do a cook book for kids with food allergies! I loved the idea and the Fun Gluten Free Cookbook for Kids was born.
