These are not exactly Scarab Beetles, but they are leaf beetles in the family Chrysomelidae, possibly Tortoise Beetles of the kind called Desmonota Variolosa. The metal body has two parts; the bezel of the scarab looks & probably is a 14Kt yellow gold case; the stick is probably 9Kt gold or a gold plated metal. No markings found & it is untested.
