For your consideration with have a very unique set of Guatemalan folk art vintage village dolls seven pairs mounted on cardboard with wooden stands & 8 carved masks. The lot is a recent estate sale rescue. I was told by the daughter that her Mother collected these over the years. She had the wooden stands made to display them. There is a lot of detail in all. On the bottom of each pair on the cardboard piece they are mounted is a region or area name they are from. Don’t think you’ll find another collection like this one. Approx 5 1/2" tall & base of cardboard is approx. 6 1/2". Hats are made of straw, clothing is fabric, beads for jewelry, ceramic & other composition. A lot of hard work went into this collection. Guessing they are from 1960-70’s. Lanquin Coban Tactic Cahabon Carcha San Juan Chamulco Tamahu There are also 8 smaller carved wood masks. Each has a hole at the top. Guessing this would be to wear around one’s neck or display. Approx 2 -2 12" each. USPS or FedEx shipping quoted.
