Hand dyed half yard gradient in a highly textured mix. Teal green/blue moves into a bright red violet with shades of fuchsia & merges into purple. Light & dark areas provide contrast & interest. The blended colors & high texture make it suitable for multiple quilting projects, from traditional quilts to modern quilts & art quilts. Fabric has a thread count of approximately 76-78 & is suitable for hand embroidery as well as machine quilting. Fabric is fusible ready. Photo 1 shows the fat quarter view. Photo 2 shows the half yard piece. The other photos show close ups along the gradient. Each piece is unique, but this is the range of colors you can expect. Fabric specifications: Preshrunk. Half yard is approximately 21x36 inches, with the length running down the selvage Fat quarter is approximately 21x18 inches Fabric is similar to batik weight. 100% cotton Each piece of fabric has been dyed with my own recipe of Procion Mx dyes, & washed according to the manufacturer’s instructions. After multiple hot washes to remove the excess dye, each piece is steam ironed on white muslin to check for color fastness under normal piecing or fusing conditions. Cold wash recommended. Use of a color catcher is advised if using a hot wash. Time Frame: Fabric is ready to ship, but if ordered with other items, it will ship when everything is ready.
