This amazing pressure gauge is probably from the 1930s or 1940s, with a needle shape typical of the interwar period. This gauge measured hydraulic pressure up to 3,000 PSI, possibly for an industrial ram. This gauge was made by the Acme Gauge & Instrument Co. of Brooklyn, New York for Rivett Lathe & Grinder Co. of Boston, Massachusetts. The gauge measures about 5 7/8 in diameter, & the body is about 2 1/8 thick, & the connectors extend another 4 1/4" below the gauge.
