This amazing pressure gauge is probably from the 1930s or 1940s, with a needle shape typical of the interwar period. This gauge measured gas pressure up to 20 PSI, possibly for an industrial ram. This gauge was made by the Foxboro Gauge Company of Foxboro, Massachusetts. The gauge face measures about 6 1/4" in diameter, & with the mounting flange the gauge is 7 3/8" in diameter. The gauge body is about 2 1/8" thick & the connectors extend another 2 1/4" below the gauge. Cool piece of American manufacturing history from the pinnacle of the machine age. in decent condition, with wear & rust on the brass casing, flaking paint, & the glass is clear & without scratches.
