This minimalist fine art food photography print of mine features Icelandic langoustine. Iceland is famous for its delicious langoustines. Their meat is so tender, a real treat! I took this photograph on one of my 6-month stays in Iceland. At that time I lived on a farm at the foot of the famous Eyjafjallajökull volcano. I loved to grill langoustines on lazy Saturday evenings, with a view over the volcano. The langoustine emerges from the darkness. I lit it with soft, delicate light. Very shallow depth of field gives the whole composition a lot of depth & vividness. The langoustine looks so appetizing & real, you’ll want to eat it.
