This slouchy ponytail scrub hat is made of 98% cotton, 2%spandex. The front to the crown measures 5.25". There is elastic in a casing in the back on the hat band with a toggle for adjustment around your head. The toggle is located on the outside of the casing so your hair doesn’t get caught on your neckline. There are pleats in the crown of the hat to accommodate your ponytail or large hair! We have a smoke & pet free shop. All seams are finished. I’ve enclosed a 29" ribbon you could tie back your ponytail. You could run it through the toggle or sew in if you would like to secure so it stays with you throughout your busy day should it come untied. At my hospital, we cut the ribbon in half & attach it at the juncture of the elastic casing & front band. Ribbons may be worn onto the head, or at the nape of the neck. Ribbon ends have been fray checked to prevent fraying. This fabric is KNIT (not woven like most in my shop), super soft fabric. This particular fabric is medium weight 98 percent cotton/2 percent poly knit. I recommend hand washing or machine washing in cold. hang to dry, or dry in a cool dryer.
