It is a beautiful decoration of a garden, recreational plot, orchard or vegetable garden surroundings. in addition to its decorative function, the flower meadow is a shelter & a source of food for many insects & small mammals. Even a small piece of land, sown with a meadow with a lot of perennials, is an interesting enrichment of the landscape. Long Life Meadow Blend, sown once & properly cared for, will enjoy colors for many seasons. A flower meadow is a fantastic idea for creating a natural filter against atmospheric pollution & restoring natural biodiversity. By sowing long-lived flower meadows, we contribute to increasing the acreage of the land, which will become an oasis for wild pollinators & many species of birds. A permanent flower meadow with 70% share of perennial & biennial plants will decorate the area for 6-12 years. The composition is suitable for sowing in spring (March-June) & autumn (October-December). Most of the flower meadows develop without any problems on average, not too much fertilized soils. A sunny location, free from weeds, stones & other contaminants is recommended. Before sowing, the area must be loosened to a depth of 15-30 cm. The seeds cannot be sown too deep - they can be lightly covered with soil or gently rake. Before sowing, the seeds should be mixed with sand in a ratio of 1: 3. in order to enjoy lush flowering as soon as possible, ensure good humidity during the germination period of the seeds. Fertilization can be applied only after the seeds have emerged. The cost of living & the workload of the flower meadow is low. If we do our best to prepare the terrain well & provide the plants with adequate humidity, we will not have any problems with the cultivation. After flowering, it is best to mow the meadow after the first frost. The correct mowing date is crucial for the proper maintenance of perennial mixtures.
