From a pattern by Fantasy Creations, this very large creature has been quilted in all manner of Hawaiian fabrics. It’s not easy to navigate all the curves & tight corners to apply patches of lovely island prints in hair fine holographic thread! That’s why this merhorse is called SPARKLING, because the holographic thread shimmers in the light. Wow in the sun, & the more little patches, the more stitches & the more she sparkles! & the patches are stitched by HAND directly on to the creature, just like all my quilted animals.
