10-year-old Mason Kane finds her grandmother’s old cook book. Immediately she is inspired to cook. While experimenting in the kitchen, Mason discovers something amazing! She creates a delicious dish that is known today as ROUX, a New Orleans tradition and favorite. She opens a restaurant and begins serving the dish and she becomes a town hero.
