This wonderful blown glass pear is 10 inches tall!! It is quite a statement piece. It was made in Italy & is Murano glass. The body of the pear is a medium transparent green with dark green specks & bubbles. The applied leaf is dark green & flips up at the bottom. The applied stem is clear & bends away from the leaf. As I mentioned above, this pear is 10" tall. It has a 4" diameter at the base & is 4-3/4" wide at the bottom. This pear is from the Mid Century Modern time period. It is from the 1960s. This pear has been displayed through the years. There is a flake on the pontil mark at the bottom that could have been done during production. You can see this in picture #9. There is a popped bubble nick under the leaf. This is shown in picture #10 which is greatly magnified. Please see my pictures. My price reflects the damage.
