This meal bowl is perfect for many types of foods including large salads, pasta, soup, or popcorn. I often use mine for the main meal & large salads as well as a small serving bowl for a bunch of grapes & many other items. This listing is for one bowl that is perfectly imperfect known as Wabi-Sabi. The imperfections are primarily visual because this the bowl holds liquids & is fully functional. Wabi-sabi (侘寂) is the Japanese aesthetic & world view that embraces imperfection in art. Wabi-sabi is based on these three principals: nothing lasts, nothing is finished, & nothing is perfect. This is a view that as a ceramic artist I choose to live by because the clay medium is full of surprises. My cabinets are full of Wabi-Sabi pieces. I often prefer them because they are one of a kind:) Descriptions of bowls available in this listing are described below: spotty wild sage - There are two of these available. #1 has a small fissure on the side of the bowl that was repaired. It is barely noticeable. #2 has a small fissure on the side of the bowl that was repaired & a small a few imperfections on the inside bottom of the bowl. These are minor. misty gray - #3 has a small fissure on the side of the bowl that was repaired. The glaze has some darker spots which make it really lovely.
