This ‘something blue’ hand embroidered monogrammed label is a special wedding dress keepsake. The brides maiden name initials are used for the wedding gown monogram. Or alternatively, the embroidered initials could be those of a departed loved one. A few tiny stitches secures the label to the inside top of the dress or the hemline. Traditionally the maiden name initials are used for the wedding dress label as it is the last thing that the bride wears as a single woman. The central large letter is usually the brides surname initial & the first & second name initials are embroidered either side. The wedding date is hand embroidered underneath the brides initials. The label is made using fine linen & it measures 6 cms square. I have hand embroidered a hemstitch edge. Monogrammed Wedding Dress Label ~ Hand Embroidered, Personalised “Something Blue”
