Spent primers simply go down the ram into the director (included) then to the catcher & down the tube. The collection tube has been designed to use a half inch I.D. tubing.(not included, but can be got at any hardware store) This item is designed to fit Lee turret press with smooth rods & hole on side of the ram (see pics) (more model catchers in my ebay store) Very easy to install design. (instructions included) Comes with magnetic primer slot director. Also NOTE: Auto index is not compatible Repeat,You can not use a auto index with the catcher.
