They are usually found by farmers plowing their fields & can be quite lovely when cut & polished, a labor intensive task. Many have clusters of druzy quartz or amethyst crystals within. Geodes are formations that occur in sedimentary & volcanic rocks. They typically form when air bubbles inside volcanic rock form hollow cavities. Over time as mineral-rich water seeps into the rock, it deposits tiny crystals on the sides of the cavity. After millions of years, the flow of water gradually builds crystals inside the hollow space. These geodes are excellent to use in meditation. Jody Note: I cleanse/clear all my crystals using sound. All crystals have a continuous flow of energy, each one with its own natural frequency. Crystals can be shifted from their natural vibration by exposure to energy at a higher strength than the energy field of Earth. This can happen from powerful emotion, computer EMFs, or something similar. When the crystal vibrates with energy not quite the same as its own natural energy, it is “out of tune” with Earth & doesn’t oscillate as well. Rather than charging, they need clearing.
